This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Shimeji: Screen Pet ("Pocket Shimeji," "the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use the app. Pocket Shimeji is developed by BBL TECHNOLOGY LTD.
Pocket Shimeji does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or other profile identifiers to us. Gameplay and preference data you create in the app (pets, streak, settings, custom drawings, emoji/battery overlay preferences) is stored in the app’s private storage on your device.
Separately, the App uses Google services that are standard in our Android builds — including Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config). Those services may process device and advertising identifiers, diagnostics, and similar technical data as described in Google’s policies, so that we can show ads, measure stability, and configure the product. We do not sell your personal information.
The App also offers optional in-app purchases (for example Premium unlocks) processed by Google Play Billing. Payment card details are handled by Google; we do not receive your full payment card information. Purchase or entitlement status may be stored on your device and verified with Google Play.
The App may download pet catalog assets and emoji/battery themes from a third-party content delivery network (CDN) operated for the App. CDN requests may include standard technical data (such as IP address and device/user-agent) needed to deliver files. We do not upload your custom pet artwork to that CDN.
We do not ask for location, contacts, phone, camera, or microphone permissions for Pocket Shimeji’s core pet features. Custom-pet images you pick are handled on-device (system Photo Picker + local crop) and are not uploaded to BBL TECHNOLOGY LTD servers as pet artwork.
If you contact us by email (for example from the in-app feedback link), we receive the address and message content you choose to send.
This local gameplay data is not copied to a BBL TECHNOLOGY LTD account backend. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes that on-device data. Clearing storage does not by itself erase data that Google’s ad, analytics, or Play Billing systems may retain under their own retention rules.

When you choose a photo for a custom pet, the app uses the Android system Photo Picker and an on-device crop library (uCrop). That image stays on your device unless you delete it or clear app storage.
The App is built to use Google Mobile Ads to show advertisements. Google may collect or receive information such as advertising ID, device and app information, and interaction data. See Google’s advertising policies and this app’s Play Data safety form.
The App includes Firebase components typical of our releases — including Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config — under Google’s Firebase privacy terms. Remote Config may update product UI such as home layout and catalog tabs.
Optional paid features are sold through Google Play. Google processes the transaction. See Google Play Terms of Service. We may receive purchase tokens / entitlement status needed to unlock Premium features in the App.
Pet catalog files and emoji/battery theme assets may be fetched from a third-party CDN used to host App content. The CDN provider processes standard request metadata to deliver those files. Custom drawings and photos you import for pets stay on your device and are not uploaded to the CDN as user artwork.
uCrop is used only for on-device image cropping when you import a photo for a custom pet.
Pocket Shimeji is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. Parents who have concerns can remove on-device app data (Section 6) and review Google’s ad/personalization and purchase settings on the device.
There is no BBL TECHNOLOGY LTD user account to delete. Remove a custom pet in Collection, or clear app storage / uninstall via Android Settings. Purchases managed by Google Play follow Google’s account and refund tools. See our Data Deletion page. For advertising, analytics, or purchase data held by Google, use Google’s device/account controls as well.
On-device data is protected by Android’s per-app sandbox. Data processed by Google ads, Firebase, Play Billing, and the CDN is handled under those providers’ practices.
If we change what the app collects or how third-party SDKs are used, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
